Back-up Instructions
As a website owner, it is essential that you understand the significance of backing up your website and its associated files. Having a backup ensures that you have a copy of all your website data, which can save you from losing all your hard work in case of any disaster. A good backup strategy will also help you recover your website quickly and effectively if anything goes wrong. Therefore, it is essential that you back up your website regularly and ensure that the backup is saved in a secure location. Moreover, downloading the backup file from the server to your local computer is is an additional level of security measure that you can take to protect your website’s data. This way, you will have an additional copy of your backup, thereby making it easier for you to access your site’s data when you need to recover it.
Backing Up Your Files
First, log in to your account.
If you don’t have your User ID and Password, Contact:
EZ-NetTools Technical Support.
To backup all files in your account, click on “Backup & Restore”.
Next, Click on the “Back up” Button.
To do a “Full Backup” select the “Full” option.
Next, click “OK” and the backup will begin.
Once the Backup is complete, click on the green icon to download the backup file from the server to your local computer.
Now, uncheck the “Use Password Protection” box as we do not recommend the need for this.
Then, click “OK” to download the backup file. This may take a few minutes depending on the size of the backup file and on the speed of your Internet connection.
